is a program of four dance workshops.
It was designed for you to start a new
journey of discovery, reconnecting with
something essential and unique that already
exists within you, your own dance.

Dancing is for lovers.
You don’t have to have qualifications.
Just allow the body to move freely.
Whatever your age or physical condition,
dancing is for you.

But where’s the dance?
It is not in the clouds, nor restricted to
a technique or confined to a special talent.
There is an inherent creativity,
ready to express itself and flow
through a dance created
through your body.

How does the dance happen?
Dance has been with us for millennia,
as ritual, celebration or art.
Even if you don’t remember,
there is a dance memory in your body.

Let’s tune in to the music and stimulate our bodies
to find new and exciting movements.
Going beyond the known is essential.
The dance will take place in a space
beyond thought and reason.

Reconnecting with this space allows a new,
original and unique form of expression to flourish.

Increase energy in the body and fluidity in movements.

Exercise mindfulness, awakening the senses and presence.

Stimulate deep relaxation, reducing stress.

Understand how the body moves, how its different parts work and the relationship between them.

Bring awareness rediscovering natural movements, creating space for a more powerful and authentic form of expression.

Feel the importance of breathing, discovering how to breathe in tune with the movements.

Workshops that combine different dance techniques with movement awareness methods, guided improvisations, free dance and some meditation tools.

Releasing tension and inhibited movements,
the body can then move with less effort.
Movements without resistance, more fluid, allowing surrender.
To let yourself be carried away by the flow,

Developing an ideal balance between relaxation and tension is essential for the body to have vitality and energy. The balanced body is a master in the search for harmony. All you have to do is listen and let yourself be guided.

Silence brings endless possibilities. Listening to it between one thought and another, at each pause of breathing, in the intervals of the heartbeat and each movement of the body reconnects us with stillness. It is in this space that dance is revealed.

Attention is a powerful tool. Using it to observe and understand how the body moves is an exercise in presence. Conscious and spontaneous movement is inspiring.

I’m passionate about seeing people build up courage and break the imaginary line that separates the audience from the stage. I believe we all can dance, finding a genuine satisfaction that goes far beyond applause or recognition. BE THE DANCE is a space where everyone can get a taste of what it’s like to be in a dance class. We worked a little on modern dance technique and movement awareness, but also on free dance and guided improvisation. It is an invitation for everyone to come and explore their body and possibilities of movement, in a fun, relaxed and conscious way.
