Our body is like a child, it likes the security that a care routine promotes. Thus, you can let go while maintaining spontaneity, lightness, fluidity.
In Biostretch, we gently and purposefully bring our attention to small and simple movements of the body. Systematically, through conscious repetition, we create a discipline that the body understands as appropriate because it gradually promotes a state of presence and this, inevitably, provides immense pleasure.
In this way, effortlessly and painlessly, we allow our system to spontaneously learn what is best for it, finding new ways to move more relaxed and efficient.
Gradually, if we maintain the systematic practice of the exercises, we will naturally broaden our awareness of how we move in our daily lives. Those actions that we reproduce every day, mostly automatically, will start to call our attention: how we sit, walk, drive, cook, stop in front of the computer and so many other actions that we repeat in our daily lives.
There is no magic, body awareness cannot be given, it has to be self-developed. Creating a moment every day where we dedicate ourselves totally to the care of our body, awakening our conscience, is to cultivate a new way of relating to ourselves, less utilitarian, more loving and respectful of life.
Below is a second Biostretch session, this time with exercises in a sitting position. You now have the chance to create your own routine, doing the two sessions that we provide (see previous post: Biostretch) in sequence or alternating sessions daily.
